Olga is a neuroscientist working at the University of Geneva,
Switzerland. In 2012, she completed her Ph.D. with Prof. Tania
Singer at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain
Sciences in Leipzig, Germany. She studied Psychology at the
University of Mainz, Germany, for three years and then received
her Master of Neuroscience at University College London in
2007. Subsequently, she started her Ph.D. thesis with Tania
Singer at the University of Zurich. Olga studies how training
compassion or empathy shapes affective experience, neural
activation, and pro-social behavior.
